Meet the Artist
Alison Slackta
I’m a Michigan born-and-raised artist. I’ve been creating art for almost my entire life with an education from the Flint Institute of Arts as a teenager, to getting my Bachelors in Fine Arts from the College for Creative Studies in Detroit.
My favorite things to paint have always been figures and portraits, with creating whimsical, eye-catching backgrounds coming in second.
I do this because there is nothing like recreating the magic of someone’s wedding night on canvas. It’s one of the rare gifts that can last multiple life-times.
